The Wine Club Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day customer service, order processing and customer/database management for established wine clubs with over 15,000 combined members.
• Primary contact for all consumer inquiries and problem solving.
• Strong customer service skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
•Completes all tasks in a timely manner as outlined by dept operating procedures.
•Focused responsibility on order processing, database management, compliance follow up, shipment tracking, application processing and membership coordination via telephone and email.
•Ensure customer information is current and proactively manage contact info to ensure expired/decline rates are at minimal levels.
•Deliver additional sales through upsell opportunities for increased revenue to achieve monthly goals.
•Maintain a positive relationship with VC staff and provides necessary wine club communication for knowledge sharing and increased sign ups.
•Attend or participate in wine club member events, including tastings, pick-up parties and release events.
•Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of portfolio wineries and products.
•Provides backup as requested for other team members as directed by supervisor.
•Relevant experience in the wine industry required, specifically wine club and customer service experience.
•Professional manner and exceptional customer service skills a must.
•Excellent phone skills with emphasis on upselling techniques.
•Strong organizational skills including exceptional attention to detail and follow-through needed.
•Must be hands-on and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Computer literate with extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ShipCompliant, and order management systems (ie., Vin65, WineDirect).
