JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:

o Represent Patz & Hall effectively to distributors, and costumers while directing the execution of the company’s strategic business plans through assigned wholesalers.
o Oversee and manage relationships at all executive levels within wholesalers, including positions such as General Manager, Channel Vice Presidents, Wine Managers, Brand
Managers, Chain Headquarter Managers, purchasing agents, Controllers, Finance Managers, and Operations Managers.
o Communicate clearly with the distributors on monthly execution priorities, goals, and sales quotas.
o Prepare accurate forecasts for shipments, depletions, and budgeting for all Patz & Hall Wines
o Lead sales and planning meetings for the wholesaler’s sales and management staff, fostering a collaborative and goal-focused environment.
o Contribute to the preparation of the annual business plan, encompassing sales, marketing, budgetary, production, and communication strategies to achieve case volume
targets and profit contributions for the forthcoming year.
o Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive portfolio’s yearly depletion and distribution objectives
o Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for sales growth
o Collaborate with marketing, operations and winemaking teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies
o Monitoring competitor activities and sharing insights on competitive strategies and tactics with the SVP and key Wholesaler personnel.
o Supporting sales initiatives, including participating in sales blitzes/crew drives in secondary markets as required.
o Managing annual market budgets effectively.
o Upholding a strong code of ethics and integrity.
o Demonstrating resilience, tenacity, and a proactive approach.
o Exhibiting strong leadership qualities, with a proven ability to communicate and lead within a matrix environment.
o Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
o Ensure compliance with legal and ethical business practices in the wine industry
o Collaborating with distributor sales teams and management to ensure efficient and effective program execution.
o Training distributor sales personnel on Patz & Hall Portfolio

Requirements:
The time committed to each city or market should match the market size/potential of the geography.

•  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
•  Ability to travel as needed to meet with distributors, attend events, and visit key accounts
•  Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
•  Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading high-performing sales teams
•  Deep knowledge of the wine industry, including key players, market trends, and distribution channels
•  Minimum of 10 years previous professional wine industry experience with a proven track record of success

Physical Requirements
•  Working in home office environment as well as in assigned sales territory
•  This position requires travel (approximately 65%), primarily within assigned sales territory.
•  Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
•  Ability to occasionally lift and carry cases of wine that may weigh up to 45 pounds.
