Dunham Cellars, a family owned winery in Walla Walla, is searching for a Cellar Technician to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Cellarmaster and Winemaking the Cellar Tech carries out cellar operations while observing safety and oenological protocols. This position will perform all cellar operations: barrel pump out outs, barrel filling, racking, blending, transfers, making additions, topping, bottling, cleaning, and sanitation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•  Execution of daily wine work orders
•  Maintain documentation of completed tasks
•  Responsible for sanitization of parts and equipment
•  Maintain winery cleanliness
•  Empty barrel maintenance
•  Other duties as required

•  Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
•  Great communication skills
•  Ability to focus and work independently on wine operations
•  Ability to coordinate work load with team
•  Maintain high quality winemaking standards

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
•  Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation
•  Forklift driving experience is a plus
•  Ability to work extended hours in a cellar environment, especially during harvest
•  Maintaining all safety procedures and ensuring that the crew upholds all safety measures in the cellar (e.g. confined space training, ladder safety)
