We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Cellar Assistant at the Rutherford Wine Vault. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage the weekly calendar for locker appointments and pallet drop-offs and pick-ups. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to ensure smooth scheduling and logistics within the cellar.

Physical capability is essential for this role, as it involves moving full pallets of wine, lifting cases weighing up to 40lbs, and operating a handheld forklift. We need someone who can handle these tasks with ease and efficiency, contributing to the seamless operation of our cellar operations.

In addition to logistical responsibilities, the Cellar Assistant will play a crucial role in managing direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfillment. This includes accurately pulling the correct wine for orders, packaging items, and ensuring timely delivery to third party shippers. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service are essential.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the cellar is paramount to the quality of our wine and the overall efficiency of our operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cellar remains clean and orderly, as well as managing inventory for select storage members.

Excellent communication skills are also a must, as the Cellar Assistant will be required to respond to storage members' questions, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner. Building positive relationships with our storage members is crucial to our success, and we are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional service.
