Job Title: Controller for winery supplier

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized controller to manage our financial records, oversee inventory operations, and coordinate shipping activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, experience with inventory management software, and a solid understanding of shipping logistics.

- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory and manage purchase orders.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize inventory storage and streamline shipping processes.
- Assisting in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SOS, Xero) and inventory management systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, carriers, and customs regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
