Stoller Family Estate is one of Oregon’s most highly regarded vineyards and wineries. Pioneering Oregonian and Founder, Bill Stoller, purchased his family’s second-generation farm in 1993 with the vision of cultivating an enduring legacy for the land and Oregon wine industry. Over the last 20 years, he has patiently transformed the 373-acre property into the largest contiguous vineyard in the Dundee Hills and a sought after source of fruit for premier producers. Longtime Winemaker, Melissa Burr, works in concert with Vineyard Manager, Jason Tosch, to oversee the site’s continued refinement and steward Stoller’s legacy of growing exceptional wine. Stoller Family Estate features the world's first LEED® Gold certified winery, three guest homes and a state of the art tasting room with panoramic vineyard views.

Stoller Wine Group is seeking a Bottling Operator II to join the bottling team at the winery. This position is a full-time position, we offer competitive medical, dental and 401k benefits and other perks, including lunches from our talented kitchen staff.

This position reports directly to the Bottling Line Supervisor.

Summary
This position is responsible for operating the bottling equipment by performing the following duties.

Job Duties
•  Attend to the operation of all bottling equipment and tasks while applying good manufacturing processes.
•  Perform bottling line startups and shutdowns as required. Conduct line and equipment sanitation in compliance with quality requirements.
•  Perform changeovers on the bottling line.
•  Perform routine production quality checks. Consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.
•  Ability to rotate to any position on the bottling line.
•  Ability to work Harvest and be shift and schedule flexible.
•  Demonstrate a sense of urgency for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
•  Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and other departments.
•  Follow all procedures and guidelines. Identify safety hazards and communicates to team members and leadership.
•  Demonstrate a positive attitude, ability to work with team members to achieve production goals and has a desire to continuously learn and improve.
•  General housekeeping duties and maintain a sanitary work area.
•  Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
•  Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
•  Respectfully takes direction from Supervisor and Manager.
•  Other duties as assigned.

Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10 hours a day. 9am to 7:30pm. Occasional overtime.

Salary: From $19.00 per hour

Supervisory Responsibilities

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED and two year(s) related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience working in warehouses and bottling lines.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement knowledge certification preferred.

Travel Requirement
This position does not require travel.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills
Has the minimal skills necessary to operate a computer. Can log on to a computer system, navigate in windows, perform simple tasks within applications and enter information into a database.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This employee will occasionally be required to work in high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and in areas risk of shock. This employee is regularly required to work in wet or humid conditions, near toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
