Job Description:

Who we are
Founded in 2003, Vinfolio fulfills the needs of fine wine enthusiasts worldwide. In 2022, Vinfolio merged with Fine and Rare Wines Limited, one of the world's leading marketplaces for fine wines, spirits, and collectible experiences, with global offices in Asia, Continental Europe, and the UK.

Our unique platform offers the fine wine consumer an ideal 360-degree solution to more enjoyably pursue their passion for drinking and cellaring the best wines of the world. We buy and sell collectible fine wine and operate the only true full-service wine storage facility in the United States. We provide a cutting-edge, purely web-based wine management software solution, VinCellar, which enables enthusiasts to actively manage their cellars. Vinfolio's Marketplace is the first and only platform available in the USA for collector-to-collector wine sales.

Our state-of-the-art warehouse and office headquarters are located in Napa, Northern California. We are a licensed retailer, wholesaler, and importer but have no physical storefront. We are currently looking to add a highly motivated, wine-knowledgeable Key Account Manager to join our Sales team.

Role information
The Key Account Manager is responsible for acquiring, retaining, developing, and growing Vinfolio’s most valuable US key clients. You will passionately support and represent the Vinfolio brand within the US market, aligned with all strategic plans and initiatives.

Our clients expect us to be available and present. You will be completely committed to the development and growth within the US market, consistently spending time with clients to showcase the Vinfolio brand with clear ownership of new business development.

Closely aligned to Vinfolio's strategic value drivers, you will be accountable for managing and delivering your annual sales targets whilst owning responsibilities for new business development, referrals (acquisition), growing and retaining clients through exceptional service levels and experience (service), and extending the customer lifetime value by providing guidance and advice through full buying/resale journey (buy-store-sell).

Complete accountability for overall performance. You will utilize expertise in fine wines and spirits and the local market to grow key relationships, developing Vinfolio into an industry-leading brand within the US market.

Key areas of responsibility
- Establish, nurture, and develop long-term, high-quality key account relationships with key fine wine buyers, assisting them in sourcing and building collections/portfolios of the

- Full management of all reporting dashboards measuring performance, service, and client information, including weekly reports with performance commercials vs target, acquisition/referrals plans, client activity summary, service level delivery, marketplace activity, and market insights.
- Ownership of your own personal development—planning to improve (taking part in key initiatives, projects, external courses) and grow your expertise and skillset.
- Contributing positively to commercial group discussion and constructive thinking around clients, navigating challenging market conditions as well as driving and maximizing sales in strong markets.
- Ownership of open invoice balances – ensuring cash collection is well-managed and proactive management of exposure limits.
- Work closely with other functions across the business to ensure the objectives are aligned and supported, enabling long-term success.
- Proactively managing issues or problems when they arise, ownership through to resolution.
- Ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer service experience, from new client onboarding through to retaining Vinfolio’s most important and valuable customers.
- Helping to provide a positive, strong team environment through exceptional performance, constant pursuit of exceeding targets, and excellent communication.
- Act as a brand ambassador internally to the rest of the business and also within the market to promote Vinfolio and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
- Promotion of strong commercial performance, with a focus on service delivery and aiming to provide the highest-quality customer service experience.
- Manage all assigned client transactions from sale through final delivery, with administrative and logistical support from Private Client Experience Representatives.
