Seasonal Cellar Worker

Job Description:

Lazy Creek Vineyards in Anderson Valley is seeking temporary harvest workers.
Experience preferred but not required. Clean DMV and Forklift Certification are desirable.

Under close supervision, performs various cellar work assignments, which would include, but are not limited to the following:
Crush Pad Work: crushing , destemming, pressing, additions
Racking of juice/wine
Filling barrels and tanks
Sanitation of cellar & harvest equipment
Responsible daily for the general housekeeping of the cellar
Other routine duties, as assigned

Previous winery experience is desirable but not required. Must have excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail. Must be self-motivated, flexible and be able to communicate effectively.

Physical Requirements:
Requires work schedule flexibility, 6-7 days a week, 6-14 hours per day, during harvest (typically September through November). Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.
Additionally, job requires many hours of standing, lifting and bending; and working indoors and outdoors in all seasons and temperatures.
