Paul Hobbs Winery, in Sebastopol, is seeking a seasoned and professional Cellarworker.
The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, desire to learn, and would be dedicated to high standards for wine quality and sanitation. Meticulous cellar technique and an understanding of winemaking and how cellar procedures impact wine quality are of the utmost importance.
Responsibilities include wine work, cleaning and sanitation, driving forklifts, bottling, sampling, operating harvest equipment, training and supervision of interns, providing feedback for process improvements, and maintenance projects. Work is expected to be executed per Paul Hobbs Winery procedures and in a safe, organized and efficient fashion.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be willing to work long hours and weekends and meet the physical requirements of the job description.
