Wine Guide Position Summary:
B Cellars Vineyards & Winery, Napa Valley’s newest destination winery is excited to be opening in Oakville this August. We are looking for dynamic, energetic sales people, who enjoy engaging with guests one on one for private tours and tastings. The right candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and high touch guest service, balanced by a passion for wine, and a drive to close sales. B Cellars understands the value of a strong, committed team, and as such offers some of the highest commission and benefits in the valley.
Full and Part time Wine Guide Position, weekends and holidays required
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age
Excellent verbal & interpersonal communication skills required
Must have a sense of humor
Must be a self-starter
Must be comfortable speaking with and interacting with guests
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to multitask
Must have a basic understanding of POS software, Microsoft Word and Excel
While previous winery experience is a plus, candidate must have at least two years’ experience in fine wine or luxury product sales experience preferred
Minimum AA degree
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, DOE, with heavily incentivized sales commission and bonuses, paid holidays, and eligibility for full-time health benefits.
