B Cellars Vineyards & Winery is looking to add additional talent to its growing business. We are looking for dynamic, energetic people who enjoy interacting with guests, and have a strong skill set in hospitality and excellent guest service. This candidate will act as an ambassador for the winery, sharing the story, history, and portfolio of wines. Daily duties will include: guiding intimate tours of the winery, executing seated tastings, professional soliciting of society memberships, gathering of customer data, and overall attention to exceptional guest relations.
Under the guidance of master winemaker, Kirk P. Venge, B Cellars specializes in unique varietal blends and limited production single-vineyard wines from Napa's most notable vineyards including To Kalon, Stagecoach, Lewelling, and Star. With the opening of our new Oakville winery, it is our mission to create meaningful 'life moments" for our guests through unique tasting experiences, staff engagement, and exceptional guest service. Wine guide candidates must be passionate, curious, and hardworking. As a small winery, every position requires an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to be a self-starter.
Full and Part time Wine Guide Position, weekends and holidays required
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
? Must be 21 years of age
? Excellent verbal & interpersonal communication skills required
? Must have a sense of humor
? Must be a self-starter
? Must be comfortable speaking with and interacting with guests
? Available to work both weekends and holidays
? Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
? Ability to multitask
? Must have a basic understanding of POS software, Microsoft Word and Excel
? While previous winery experience is a plus, candidate must have at least two years’ experience in fine wine or luxury product sales experience preferred
? Minimum AA degree
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, DOE, with heavily incentivized sales commission and bonuses
