Current hands-on laboratory position responsible for majority of chemistry lab analysis on wine samples. Operates and calibrates primary lab instruments. Works with minimal supervision performing primary analyses. Maintains accurate records of activities. Maintains a clean, organized work area and coordinates activities with various individuals in wine production cycle.
Desired Qualifications: HS graduate or GED equivalent with classes in chemistry. Or A.S. in Math or Science. Basic wine knowledge and knowledge of wine chemistry a plus. Minimum of one year wine exp. in a winery lab or cellar. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and adaptable to learning WMDB (winemaker database program). Strong-attention-to detail and excellent record-keeping skills. Good english/spanish communication skills. Valid CA driver's license and good DMV record. Strong team player and ability to multi-task various activities. Available to work additional and flexible hours during harvest. Preferably lives in or within reasonable commuting distance to the Anderson Valley.
