The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and actively manage key supply chain functions within the winery case goods business, including sale tracking, production planning, inventory management, dry goods negotiation, purchasing and bottling schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage production planning and forecasting process to facilitate demand-based bottling, reduce out-of-stocks and improve on-time delivery.
Improve existing production scheduling process and assist with daily maintenance of bottling schedule.
Establish procedures and cost controls for procurement of dry goods.
Optimize warehousing storage and shipping/receiving procedures.
Fully utilize winery management information system (Vintners Advantage) and make sure this ERP platform is utilized to its maximum potential.
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and control costs.
Assist in resolving customer scheduling, production and logistics problems.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by supervisor.
Achieve positive working relationships with winery clients, business contacts and outside suppliers.
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal winery staff, including winemaking, production, operations, finance, sales and general management.

5+ years work experience in operations and production management, especially in a manufacturing and warehousing environment.
Knowledge of wine production and winery operations preferred.

Strong verbal and oral presentation skills in both one-on-one and group settings.
Exceptional written communication skills.
Well-rounded interpersonal skills including ability to coordinate with multiple departments and diverse personalities.
Highly organized with keen attention-to-detail.
Effective time and project management skills.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, especially Excel for reporting.
Experience with ERP systems implementation and management.
