Round Pond Estate, in the heart of Rutherford, is looking for candidates to join the winemaking team for the upcoming harvest. We are a small, family-owned winery, producing primarily Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and its accompanying varietals. Interns will work closely with the winemaking team throughout the production process and will have the opportunity to participate in every step. Ideal candidates will be passionate about wine and the winemaking process, hard working, and fun.
Harvest Interns will assist the winemaking team with basic lab analysis, winery sanitations, fruit sorting, grape receiving, crushing and pressing, juice rackings, additions, barrel filling, barrel preparations, pumpovers, and punchdowns.
This is an excellent opportunity to be exposed to every aspect of winemaking and gain valuable experience in each step.
