We are in immediate need of an experienced sales professional for the Central Valley/ Bakersfield area.
The ideal candidate should have good wine knowledge, the ability to work independently, and have excellent organizational skills.
Prior wine sales experience is preferred.
Sales professional's territory is managed by developing and maintaining positive rapport with current accounts, while maximizing the sales of our brands. Providing excellent customer service and giving professional sales presentations are an integral part of the job.
Skills/Requirements for Candidate:
Must be 21 years or older
Familiarity with buyers &/or accounts in the territory
Service existing accounts
Development of new accounts
Manage accounts with professionalism and regular calls
Promote and conduct wine tastings
Demonstrate leadership qualities
Communicate effectively to management
Attend monthly team meetings and supplier presentations/visits
Be self-motivated and results oriented
Works well independently as well as in a team
Effective communication skills
Maintain good driving record - required
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
3-4 year experience preferred
