Description:
Premium estate grown Primitivo, Amador Shenandoah Valley AVA, 2000 Ft Elevation. Elegantly handcrafted at our winery with careful hand sorting, manual punch downs, gentle bladder press. Aged with French oak ~30% new. Notes of black cherry, cassis, black pepper, vanilla. A complex wine with medium body, soft tannins, balanced acid, full finish that “dances on your tongue”. Our current release 2020 Primitivo awarded Double Gold, 99 pts, Best of California at the CA State Fair!
