Description:
2022 Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon from organic practicing vineyard. Currently stored in about 50% new oak--primarily French with a little American. The wine is features dark sweet fruit on the palate, with pleasant spice and smokiness, and a delicate herbaceousness. Elegant mouthfeel with nice resolved tannins. 6% Petit Verdot and 6% Cabernet Franc. All from the same small vineyard north of town near the river.
