We have sustainable farming practices, we mow, use cover crops, and strip burn for weed control, hand prune & pi. We do not have an organic certification. Two plots @ 5 acres each, are 50 years old zinfandel head pruned. One 5 acre plot is grown from our 118 year old "Picnic Hill" vines and are currently 6 years old. The newest 5 acre plot was field grafted last year from bud wood of our 118 year old vines. Our old vines make "Turley's Judge Bell" We get 1 - 1.5 tons an acre.
