As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success and growth of our organization. As a Winery Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various engineering projects within our winery operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects aimed at enhancing our winemaking processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires a unique blend of engineering expertise, project management skills, and a passion for the wine industry.


What we will ask you to do:
•  Plan, Budget, Monitor and Report the project with the use of various project management tools against key deliverables and milestones.
•  Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the viability of winery projects.
•  Develop engineering designs for winery facilities, including production areas, fermentation tanks, bottling lines, and storage facilities.
•  Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards for winery operations and safety.
•  Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other specialists to integrate winemaking processes into facility design.
•  Demonstrate strong leadership, self-management, and team management skills.
•  Analyze current state and bring innovative new approaches to current issues and determine how to significantly enhance existing capabilities.
•  Make recommendations to senior management on improvements to facilities and equipment that support capacity, capability, and business continuity.
•  Recommend, support, justify and lead the implementation of equipment or facility layout.

What you will need:
•  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
•  Proven experience in engineering project management, preferably within the food and beverage industry, with specific exposure in winery operations.
•  Strong technical proficiency in engineering principles, equipment design, process optimization, and automation systems.
•  Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
•  Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
•  Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving results.
•  Knowledge of winemaking processes, vineyard operations, and sustainability practices is desirable.
•  Proficiency in project management software, CAD tools, and MS Office Suite
