Job Description:

The Duckhorn Portfolio is North America’s premier luxury wine company. We were established in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn. Today, our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Decoy, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Canvasback, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing and Postmark.

The Harvest Lab Intern will provide analytical and logistical support for the Duckhorn portfolio harvest operations in Sonoma County.

This is a seasonal opening based in our Santa Rosa office. The estimated timeframe for this position is from approximately August 1 through to the end of October 2024.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Process grape (berry & cluster) samples.
•  Perform Lab analysis, including pH / TA with Auto-titrator and generate data.
•  Enter data into Navision (Winery Tracking Software) and Excel.
•  Generate grape analysis reports.
•  Order Lab supplies when necessary.
•  Respect all winery safety regulations relevant to the use of required chemicals.
•  Special project as assigned.

What you will need:
•  Prior Lab experience helpful.
•  Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Email
•  Can-do positive attitude
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean DMV record.
•  May require use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
