About Sterling Vineyards

Internationally known, Sterling Vineyards is one of the most visited wineries in Napa Valley. Modeled after a Greek monastery, the winery sits 300 feet above the valley floor where visitors take an aerial tram to access the top-quality Bordeaux varietals and majestic 360-degree views of Napa Valley. Closed in September 2020 following the Glass Fire that affected much of the area, Sterling reopened to guests in October 2023 complete with a new gondola system, re-imagined visitor spaces and a fresh take on Napa Valley hospitality.

About the Role

The Assistant Hospitality Sales Manager (AHSM), Tourway is a front-line leader of the site responsible for all guest interaction, team inspiration and leadership as well as achieving financial deliverables. This role specifically focuses on the spaces dedicated to the self-guided tours and the multiple pouring stations along the route.

This role will be responsible for 5 keys areas, with a focus on driving revenue through the self-guided tour:

* Financials
* Guest Experience
* People Management
* Site Operations
* Tourway

About You

* You have at least four years direct-to-consumer wine sales and/or guest service experience.
* You have a proven track record of generating direct-to-consumer sales, leading a sales team and delivering results against defined targets.
* You have experience leading and coaching sales teams of more than 15 employees.
* You have strong computer skills, notably Microsoft Office suite of products.
* You are self-motivated, highly organized, and require minimal day-to-day direction.
* You have strong written, verbal and organizational skills in English.
* You are comfortable with regular email communication.
* You can effectively communicate with all levels of employees and consumers, written and spoken, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
* You are able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
* You have knowledge of Napa Valley area, food and wine market.
* You understand wine and winemaking.
* Must be able to travel on occasion to other Company locations in the area.
* Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $67,000 to $80,000 per year plus quarterly/monthly/Yearly bonus. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Calistoga, CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
