Enartis USA Announces BluVite and BluVite Red Fertilizers are Now OMRI Listed Products for Use in Organic Vineyards

Posted on May 21, 2020

Windsor, CA — Enartis USA, a leading supplier of products and services for the wine industry, is pleased to announce that vineyard fertilizers BluVite and BluVite Red are Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) listed products allowing for their use in organic viticulture under USDA National Organic Program (NOP) regulations.

About the OMRI

The (OMRI) provides an independent review of products intended for use in organic agriculture (among other industries). Through their review process, they help maintain organic integrity by creating transparent information and guidance about materials, so producers (and in this case farmers) know what products are appropriate for use as part of their operations.

About BluVite Vineyard Fertilizers

BluVite was developed as a multi-purpose product for all vine varieties for use in both mature vineyards and new plantings. Due to its particular composition and origin, BluVite helps facilitate the biological mechanisms that reactivate the unique microbiome of the vine. Moreover, the processes of selection and interaction between the vine specific microbiome and the soil are activated, with evident effects in the emission of secondary roots and strong adaptation to the biotic and abiotic stresses of the plant.
