Mavrik Announces Free Shipping for Alcohol Reduction

Posted on May 23, 2016

Santa Rosa, CA (May 23, 2016). Some regions have benefited for nearly 10 years from the alternative that uses no heat, no pressure, and no vacuum to remove alcohol. In those regions, many rely on the absence of flavor loss and low cost of this technology.

Mavrik has paired with its favorite shipping partners to widen the availability of its no impact alcohol reduction. From underserved regions* Mavrik will arrange and pay for shipping to a Mavrik dealc facility.

“I started using this technology eight years ago and I’m excited for even more wineries to finally have access to modern alcohol reduction technology,” said long time Mavrik Technician, Matt Zinkl.

Dialing in alcohol balance is well known to make huge improvements. Unfortunately, with some technologies, the effects of the process and the cost of excess wine loss may outweigh the benefits of balance.

Mavrik’s R&D department created the unique technology, which relies on physical properties of wine, and does not use heat, pressure, or vacuum to force alcohol, among other things, out of wine. No flavors other than alcohol are lost, unlike the old intrusive technologies, so there is 40-60% less volume lost.

*Offer good to/from the California counties of Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Nevada, Amador, El Dorado, Calaveras, Placer.
