Posted on March 06, 2014

Petaluma, California, March 6, 2014 -- Scott Labs is proud to announce that it will be joining the efforts of the Napa Valley Tour de Cure cycling event in the fight against diabetes. With numerous Scott Lab employees and customers already being avid cyclists, this was the perfect opportunity to team up and make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by diabetes.

To date, Team Scott Lab has over 60 riders and has raised just shy of $10,000. The goal is to raise at least $80,000 by the May 4 event. Starting at the Veterans Home in Yountville, the ride offers distances of 10, 25, 50, 80 and 100 miles. All riders are asked to raise a minimum of $250.00 that goes directly to diabetes research. By making a donation or joining the Scott Labs team, you will be helping the American Diabetes Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

Anyone wishing to make a donation or join Team Scott Lab and ride is encouraged to do so by visiting the team page.
