François Guillaume Named President of Guillaume Grapevine Nursery
Guillaume Grapevine Nursery (GGN) has announced the appointment of François Guillaume as president of Guillaume Grapevine Nursery, effective February 1, 2016. GGN is the California subsidiary of the well-known Pepinières Guillaume, located in Charcenne, France.
François holds a PhD in agronomy, has a strong background in oenology, and is a specialist in grapevine production. After spending one year working in Guillaume's Chilean subsidiary, François has spent the last three years in California, in charge of Guillaume Grapevine Nursery, where he has increased quality standards and implementation and improved productivity.
In California, GGN's proprietary clones, Entav, and its 2010 protocol have been become the industry's trusted standard. The demand for these fast growing, high quality vines led to the need for reinforcing the Californian management and sales team. As the new president of GGN, Francois will manage production and provide support for all Californian activities for the Guillaume Group.
