Total Beverage Solution (TBS), a beverage importer and supplier of fine wine, beer and premium spirits, welcomes Tom Rose of Ridgefield, Conn. to their staff as VP of marketing. With the acquisition of several new brands to the TBS portfolio this year, including France’s Château Castel des Maures, Southampton Ales and Lagers, based in New York, and Germany’s Berentzen liquers, CEO Dave Pardus desired to bring someone on staff with the experience and knowledge of Rose to lead and further develop the marketing function. In addition to enhancing marketing and sales efforts, Rose will serve on the organization’s senior leadership team.

Rose comes to TBS with more than 20 years in the beverage industry and has a deep cross functional background which includes serving as Group Marketing Director, VP of Customer Marketing and VP of Sales at Diageo, PLC, the world’s leading premium drinks company. Rose has worked across all categories of beverage alcohol. Most recently, Rose was based in London as the Global Commercial Transformation Director for Diageo. There, he led a global sales force effectiveness (SFE) program in 10 countries in North and Latin America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa. He received a bachelor of arts in business administration/marketing from Western Connecticut University, completed the Kellogg Advanced Management Program at Northwestern University and in 2010 earned a master’s degree in professional development and executive coaching from Middlesex University in London, writing his thesis on effective coaching by sales managers.

Rose is excited about the opportunity to join such a young and fast growing company stating, “After four years working internationally, it is remarkable to return home and see the tremendous momentum of craft and specialty import beers across the country, as well as increased per capita consumption in wine. TBS’s growing portfolio of authentic beers of the highest quality, complemented by a range of interesting wine and spirit brands, positions the company beautifully for substantial continued growth. I am looking forward to applying my wide range of experience over the past twenty years to do my part in contributing to TBS taking the next leap forward in its evolution.”
