Posted on May 18, 2010

Tom Davies, President of V. Sattui Winery, has announced the hiring of Ben Rotnicki as Director of DTC Marketing and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).

“Ben Rotnicki will develop a comprehensive marketing and social media marketing plan,” Davies said in describing Rotnicki’s position. “He will also develop CRM programs to build customer loyalty and our brand image; he will also develop marketing metrics dashboards and analyze program performance so we can constantly be calibrating our marketing efforts and exceeding our goals,” Davies added.

Born and raised in Sonoma County, Rotnicki graduated from CSU, Monterey Bay with a B.S. in Management & International Entrepreneurship; he also holds an MBA in Marketing and Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. He has specialized in multi-channel direct marketing during his career, having worked on brands ranging from Celebrity Cruise Lines, Chase Manhattan Bank, to Windsor Vineyards and, most recently, as Director of CRM & Loyalty at Godiva Chocolatier in New York. He developed and grew Godiva’s Chocolate Rewards Club to one million members in five months; he also launched consumer-insight portal, Godiva Chocolate Talk—an interactive, customer destination used by Godiva marketers to test product/packaging/marketing concepts and measure customer engagement.

“I am a fanatic when it comes to the customer experience and what better winery to work for than V. Sattui where I can leverage their direct response model and robust customer database to help grow meaningful and profitable relationships with the consumer, “ said Rotnicki, elaborating on his new role at Sattui.

Rotnicki lives in Marin County and his hobbies include enjoying good food and wine, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
