Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance Names Natasha Blake Rudnick as Event Manager
The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance, the non-profit marketing and promotion membership organization representing vintners and vineyard owners in the Walla Walla Valley AVA, has hired Natasha Blake Rudnick to oversee the organization’s burgeoning events schedule.
“Natasha brings to the Wine Alliance a tremendously strong sense of creativity, education, and hospitality from both a regional and international perspective. Additionally, she knows the Walla Walla Valley wine industry and we believe this combination of skills will allow us to raise the bar on existing and new Wine Alliance events,” said executive director Heather Unwin.
Most recently Event Coordinator to the President’s Office at the prestigious Whitman College where she oversaw more than eighty events annually, Rudnick brings a wealth of experience in the development and production of events. She has been a key member in the team that planned and coordinated such events as Neil DeGrasse Tyson's appearance at Cordiner Hall and the 2015 Gentlemen of the Road stopover in Walla Walla. Prior to her work at Whitman, she was event coordinator and marketing manager for the UCLA Film Festival and worked for the Curtis Brown Group in London as a media agent.
Rudnick has her BA from the University of California in Santa Barbara and her MA in Film and Media Studies from University College, Dublin, Ireland.
The Events Manager is a new position at the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance. Rudnick will join Heather Unwin, Executive Director, and Ashley Riggs, Communications and Marketing Manager.
