Scheid Family Wines Announces Hiring of Henry Politz as Southwest Regional Sales Manager

SALINAS, Calif., January 11, 2016 – Scheid Family Wines (“SFW”) announced today the appointment of Henry Politz as the company’s Southwest Regional Sales Manager. Henry brings over 25 years of wine sales experience to the position. He most recently worked for Banfi Vintners where he served as Region Manager of the South Central Region since 2003. Prior to Banfi, Henry was with The Wine Group and Glazer’s Companies of Louisiana. Mr. Politz holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and is a board member of the Dallas Repertoire Ballet.

“Henry’s experience and proven track record in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies will allow Scheid Family Wines to build its presence in the key state of Texas and other areas of the region. Our company continues its strong brand growth and Henry’s background is a great fit to enhance our experienced sales team,” says senior vice president Heidi Scheid. Henry will be responsible for managing the sales for the growing portfolio of Scheid Family Wines in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.
