Terry Hall, champion of the Napa Valley and Yosemite National Park, passed away on April 20 at age 59 following a long illness. A celebration of his life, hosted by the Napa Valley Vintners and Trefethen Vineyards, will be held on Tuesday, June 20th, 4-6pm at the villa at Trefethen Vineyards

Krupp Brothers Winery has purchased Kitchak Cellars, a small winery at 1094 Hardman Ave. just off Silverado Trail just north of Napa. The deal announced May 10 includes the 20-acre estate, Tuscan-style stone winery, tasting rooms, barrel chai (storage area), 10-acre vineyard and the Kitchak brand.
