The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has found "a reasonable indication" that Chinese glass manufacturers have illegally dumped glass containers in the U.S. market, according to a notice published in the Federal Register Monday. This has prompted the Department of Commerce to proceed with a further investigation into the matter to determine whether anti-dumping duties will be levied and how high they will be.

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), the largest global provider of wine and spirits qualifications for professionals and consumer enthusiasts, has announced a three-year deal with The Wine Show to be the show's official wine education partner. As part of the partnership, The Wine Show will host a WSET Education Hub on its website and will produce a series of videos with WSET to help make the world of wine more accessible to consumer enthusiasts across the globe. WSET also plans to launch fun, informal taster wine courses for consumers on the site.

Under the DO rules, new 'Gran Vino de Rueda' wines will made from vines aged at least 30 years old and with low yields - a maximum of 6,500 kg of grapes per hectare. 85% of grapes used to make 'Vino de Pueblo' village wines will have to come from villages or municipalities labelled on wines. Meanwhile, the new rules acknowledge traditional 'Rueda Palido' wines made from organic production and aged in oak barrels for at least three years.
