WITS: How Technology Is Influencing and Winning Over Wine Consumers

June 09, 2015

Joshua Saunders, founder & CEO of Uncorkd, will be speaking on how technology is influencing wine consumers at this year's Wine Industry Technology Symposium (WITS), taking place Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26, 2015 Napa Valley Marriott.

Saunders says today’s game changers for the beverage or hospitality industry in the tech space "is really the accessibility of technology and information anytime and anywhere for consumers. Consumers can seek out information on a product, brand or company on their own, but industry has the greatest opportunity to reach their audience through multiple channels and platforms and tell their story more than ever before."

The hottest tech trends that WITS attendees need to know about, according to Saunders, include technologies being used within restaurants, such as payment apps, tablet menus and location data, that engage consumers, improve the dining experience and collect more precise data than ever before.

Saunders will be speaking on this topic at Day 1 of WITS. Learn more about this topic and the full schedule of speakers here. To register for WITS, click here.
