Office Hours with Dave and Anita!
April 20, 2020
Since many of our recent in-person extension programs have been postponed or canceled, we have decided to try a new program format to reach stakeholders while we are all sheltering in place. The program is called “Office Hours with Dave and Anita” and will be held from 2-3 pm on Tuesdays, weekly, starting on April 28. The format will be that we will have one faculty member or a small group of faculty on the Zoom show. They will give a brief (~10-15 min) overview of a topic that they are working on, followed by an open question and answer session. The first Office Hour will be David Block, the current Chair of the Department of Viticulture and Enology, talking about how we’ve updated our curriculum over the last couple of years (based on input from stakeholders like you) and what we’re doing now during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place. On May 5, Anita Oberholster, our Cooperative Extension Specialist in Enology, will bring her Red Blotch research collaborators to present some of their data and answer any questions you have about Red Blotch. We have more ideas for future programs and will announce them as they are confirmed. If you have suggestions for topics you’d like to hear about on future programs, please contact us.
Click the link to the Zoom meeting below to participate. The best way to enjoy the presentation is to initially mute yourself while the presentation is taking place, then you can raise your hand (with the blue hand on the participants tab) and then unmute your audio to ask a question.
