Wine Business Monthly (WBM) Fielding Annual Tasting Room Study

Sonoma, Calif., April 15, 2020 – Wine Communications Group, owners of Wine Business Monthly, the leading provider of industry information and events, is proud to announce that the magazine will open its annual Tasting Room and Wine Club survey for respondents.
Though tasting rooms and wine clubs are in a state of flux, the study hopes to look at how policies have changed and adapted to growing economic concerns as well as provide benchmarkable results to guide meaningful decision making today and through the rest of the year. Responses are kept confidential, though a report breaking out the overall results by winery size, location and price point will be made available.
This information will also complement the annual Direct to Consumer (DTC) Shipment report conducted by our market research arm, Wines Vines Analytics, in conjunction with ShipCompliant. The DTC Shipment report with a sample of more than 20 million consumer shipments is the standard of the industry in terms of total sales through all consumer-direct channels. The Tasting Room and Wine Club study will enable wineries to compare over-the-counter club and bottle sales with club and online sales shipments.
