Paso Robles, Calif.—Now is your opportunity to submit wines and be considered for the 2020 WiVi Central Coast conference winemaker panel. The Wine Business Monthly editorial team wants to hear from you. If you have a wine that represents something new, please fill out this form and submit by Friday, November 22.

Selected winemakers will participate in a new winemaker panel during the WBM-hosted WiVi Central Coast conference, scheduled for March 25, 2020. Leading the discussion is Chris Shackelford, chef and sommelier at Trelio restaurant based in Clovis.

A Few Rules...

•Wines must be from the Central Coast, defined as the geographic areas of: Santa Cruz, Monterey, Paso Robles, Edna Valley, Arroyo Grande, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara or Ventura. In addition, wine regions in Southern California like Temecula, Baja and others around the greater Los Angeles area are encouraged to submit. Wines must be labeled from an AVA within this Central Coast definition to qualify for this panel.

•Wines from all sizes of production and all price points are welcome. If selected, Wine Business Monthly will purchase up to two cases (24 bottles) for the conference.

•A winemaker or vintner must be available to speak at the WiVi panel (March 25, 2020).

•In less than 100 words, tell us why your wine is part of the "new" Central Coast. What trend are you setting? What new winemaking techniques are you employing? What "rare for the region" grapes are you working with?

•Tech Sheet: Please provide as much technical information as possible.

How Wines are Chosen:

The Wine Business Monthly tasting panel will taste and evaluate all wines on these factors: innovative practices, wine quality, value for the price point, uniqueness within the Central Coast, distinctive clones, distinctive winemaking practices, special winemaking techniques and other characteristics as defined by the tasting panel.

Now, It's Time to Submit

Fill out the online form and please send two (2) bottles of each wine you submit between November 18-27.
