Vino Del Sol Launches Crooked Path Cellars
May 30, 2019
Vino Del Sol is proud to announce the launch of Paso Robles winery Crooked Path Cellars.
Crooked path proprietors Nancy and Craig Stoller have a deep-rooted history in the wine industry. The Stoller family founded Sunridge Nurseries in 1977 and is dedicated to producing the finest grape stock in the world. Craig is a third-generation vine grower following in his father’s footsteps. The Stoller family is proud to bring this rich history and passion for wine to Crooked Path. Finding the path not traveled by others has been a hallmark of their journey, and it has shown that this “crooked path” is the one worth taking.
Said Craig Stoller, “This partnership is very exciting for both of us. It’s an extension of our family’s passion for creating authentic Paso Robles wines. Crooked Path honors the terroir’s expression of quality and character and celebrates years of dedication in the vineyard and cellar.”
“Crooked Path wines offer a uniquely refined fruit forward taste profile for the higher tier, luxury Paso wine drinker,” said Thane Pritchard, EVP and Co-Founder of Vino del Sol, Inc. “Competitively priced with some of the market leaders and is presented in elegant packaging that will stand out on the shelf or table.”
Crooked Path is making its debut with three varietals. A Zinfandel featuring handpicked fruit sourced from the estate vineyard in the El Pomar sub AVA of Paso Robles.
A Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the best sub-appellations in Paso Robles and “The Wanderer”, a Grenache, Syrah and Petite Sirah blend with hand-picked fruit from the Sextant Estate Vineyard in the El Pomar district of Paso Robles.
