Zepponi & Company Advises on Sale of Willamette Valley's Duck Pond Cellars

September 5, 2018 – Zepponi & Company, the leading mergers and acquisitions advisory firm dedicated to the global beverage alcohol industry, served as the exclusive financial advisor to Duck Pond Cellars (“Duck Pond”) in its sale to the Great Oregon Wine Company (“GOWC”). The sale included Duck Pond’s iconic Willamette Valley brand, winemaking facility and tasting room, and 300 vineyard acres in the Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley and Umpqua Valley. The addition of Duck Pond Cellars to GOWC’s portfolio will increase its wine production capacity to over 300,000 cases, and help establish GOWC as a leader in Oregon wine production. Duck Pond is well known for their highly awarded Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The winery was founded in 1991 by Doug and Jo Ann Fries and is located in the heart of Oregon’s wine country.
