V2 Wine Group of Sonoma, California is pleased to announce several additions to their sales and marketing team as well as a promotion within the company to support their growing portfolio.

Glenn Basser recently joined V2 Wine Group as Vice President Sales, East Division. Basser has been in the Beverage Alcohol Business for 20 plus years working for several industry leaders beginning his career with Charmer Distributing in New York and including Kobrand, Grgich Hills Estates and Folio Wine Partners. Basser will be responsible for managing the five Regional Managers in the Eastern Division, which covers the V2 Portfolio in 20 eastern states. He reports to Scott Ericson, Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager.

Craig Giovannetti joined V2 Wine Group as Wholesale Customer Coordinator. He began his career in the wine industry in 2009 working for Cakebread Cellars. During the past eight years he has held positions at Rutherford Grove Estate, Free Flow Wines, Groskopf Logistics, and most recently Wine Direct. Giovannetti will be accountable for managing and facilitating the wholesale order process for select V2 Winery Partners. He reports to Keith Wesselschmidt, CFO & Vice President New Business Development.

Nick Griffin recently joined V2 Wine Group in a new position for the company, as Associate Brand Manager. He will be responsible for the marketing operations of a select segment of the V2 portfolio. Griffin started his career in a number of food and beverage roles, working several years for the luxury hotel group, The Ritz-Carlton. Most recently Griffin worked for Boisset Collection / Raymond Vineyard as Trade & VIP Sales Coordinator. He reports to Alex Dessouky, Vice President of Marketing.

Louis Charton who joined V2 Wine Group in April 2016 as Marketing Coordinator was recently promoted to Associate Brand Manager. Assuming this new role, he will be responsible for the marketing operations of a select segment of the V2 portfolio. Since coming to V2, Charton has managed marketing projects across the entire V2 portfolio including brand communication, branded marketing materials and managed V2 web design and content along with social media platforms. He also reports to Alex Dessouky, Vice President Marketing.
