Oregon Wine Kicks Off Portland Dining Month

PORTLAND, Feb. 10, 2016 — On Tuesday, Mar. 1, Oregon Wine A-List Award-winning restaurants across the city of Portland will host Oregon winemakers to kick off Portland Dining Month. To celebrate the first collaborative effort between the Oregon wine industry and Portland Dining Month, the Oregon Wine Board is giving away dinner for two at an Oregon Wine A-List restaurant to five lucky winners.
The month-long promotion, hosted by Travel Portland, commences with 14 Portland area Oregon Wine A-List restaurants each collaborating with an Oregon winemaker to create custom wine flights to pair with the restaurant’s three-course Portland Dining Month menu. The featured winemakers will be at restaurants to greet guests and discuss their wines and how they pair with each dish.
Oregon Wine Kicks Off Portland Dining Month is a unique opportunity for Portland diners to get to know their creative, fun and fascinating local winemakers. While winemaker dinners can be exclusive, pricey affairs, Portland Dining Month makes this opportunity a steal with three-course dinner menus priced at $29 per person. Wine flights at participating restaurants will vary but will average between $15-20 for a three-wine pairing flight.
Oregon wine lovers can enter for a chance to win dinner for two at an Oregon Wine A-List restaurant during Portland Dining Month. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 28, with five winners being selected on Feb. 29. Visit oregonwinealist.com for the official rules and to enter to win.

- Park Kitchen with Chehalem Wines
- Pazzo Ristorante with Coopers Hall
- Raven & Rose with White Rose
- Restaurant St. Jack with Day Wines
- RingSide Steakhouse with Adelsheim Vineyard
- Salty's on the Columbia with Dobbes Family Estate
In addition to these restaurants, there are four additional Oregon Wine A-List restaurants participating in Portland Dining Month: Imperial, Meriwether’s, Laurelhurst Market and Paley’s Place. Together, these 18 restaurants offer the best opportunities for Portlanders to enjoy local wines with creative local cuisine throughout the month of March.
