Posted on February 10, 2020

Malene Wines, the exclusive Provencal-style rose producer on California’s Central Coast, has announced the release of its new 2019 Malene Cuvee Rose. The perfectly lightly shaded rosé is the ideal wine to celebrate Galentine’s Day with your girlfriends this Thursday and beyond for picnics, beach days, and afternoon libations during the warming months we are all looking forward to.

The 2019 Malene Cuvee Rose (SRP $22) is extremely expressive on the nose and almost leaps out of the glass with notes of peach, white grapefruit and peony. To the taste, the rosé is bright and lively with hints of strawberry and nectarine. Produced by New Zealand native Fintan du Fresne (Fin), with his passion to make rose was developed during time spent with many of the great rosé houses of Provence, this Rosé exudes the ideal French-style with lovely California Coast influences.

The 2019 Malene Cuvee Rose can be sipped on its own or enjoyed with a wide variety of foods such as pad thai, Baja fish tacos and chicken quesadillas. The wine’s versatility makes it the perfect addition to all events including Galentine’s Day and future spring festivities.
