O'Neill Vintners & Distillers Embrace Success of Line 39 Wines and Launches Augmented Reality App
SAN FRANCISCO, CA June 24, 2019 – Line 39, a super-premium California wine brand enjoying terrific growth, has launched a proprietary mobile app that features an interactive augmented reality (AR) experience, loaded with consumer offers.

Line 39 produces approachable classic varietal wines filled with quality, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Reflecting the on-trend interests of its consumer base, Line 39 has launched a mobile app for summer featuring an adventurous ‘Find Your Summer’ AR experience activated by the bottle labels. The AR experience follows the story of the brand’s inspiration from the 39th parallel and takes users on mini excursions across four US destinations along the parallel, including Northern California’s wine country, the Chesapeake Bay, MD, Rocky Mountain National Park, CO and Grintner’s Sunflower Farm, KS. Each destination features animated graphics, local travel tips and suggested food and wine pairings. Consumers interact with the map and choose their own journey by tapping into any of the locations for a virtual visit.
