Oliver Winery Releases New Peach Pie Wine
Bloomington, Ind. (April 23, 2019)—Oliver Winery & Vineyards, Indiana’s oldest and largest winery, just released Peach Pie – a new summer seasonal wine in a 750 ml package, while supplies last.
A bright, fruity white wine made with summer in mind, Oliver’s Peach Pie is the latest in a series of seasonal dessert-inspired wines, with a hint of buttery crust and a touch of vanilla cream ‘a la mode’ on the finish. The wine’s crisp, clean apple base allows the bright peach flavors to shine. This sweet, juicy, and perfectly ripe wine is best served chilled.
“Oliver’s winemaking process is designed to be as gentle on the fruit as possible so that we can get the best and most natural flavors,” said Dennis Dunham, VP of Operations and Director of Winemaking. “We believe all styles of wine deserve the highest quality standards and technique, and that’s true for Peach Pie.”
The release of Peach Pie follows the national success of Oliver’s Blueberry Moscato, which was the #1 SKU in one of the Midwest’s largest grocery chains following its launch in March, and the fall seasonal Apple Pie, which sold out for the fourth year in a row in 2018.
Retailing at $10 a bottle, Peach Pie is 8.3% ABV. It’s available for a limited time at stores in Indiana, Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. This seasonal wine is also available in Oliver Winery’s Bloomington Tasting Room or online at oliverwinery.com.
