Tarpon Cellars Launches Wine and Music Experience with Spotify

Posted on April 02, 2019

Napa, CA, March 29, 2019-- Tarpon Cellars, a wine brand in Napa Valley, is excited to announce their partnership with Spotify to pair music with wine. The partnership will roll out curated Spotify playlists on the back of every bottle of 2018 wines from Tarpon Cellars. The first release in this partnership is a barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc that exhibits tropical aromatics as well as a depth and texture that lends itself to aging.

Founded by Jeremy Carter in 2017, Tarpon Cellars focuses on connecting with people by enriching the wine experience through music and positive impact, giving a dollar from every bottle sold to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“Music has always been a big part of my life and plays an important role personally during the winemaking process,” said Carter. “The Spotify and Tarpon Cellars partnership not only enhances the overall wine experience for the consumer, but deepens our connections with people by sharing the soundtrack of an entire vintage with customers, from walking the vineyard, to crushing fruit during harvest, and even the final act of bottling.”

The Spotify playlists will include an eclectic mix of songs that relate to the wine profile, while also incorporating the emotions and inspiration experienced during the production cycle for that particular vintage. Every bottle will feature a link that directs to where there is a brief description and complete playlist.

Launched in 2008, Spotify gives more than 207 million monthly users the ability to stream and download over 40 million songs.
