Odette Estate Winery Announces Completion Of New Estate Lounge
The PlumpJack Group’s newest winery, Odette Estate Winery, located in Napa’s famed Stags Leap District, is pleased to announce the completion of its new contemporary Estate Lounge. Designed by Napa-based Shopworks, the state-of-the-art, 3,500-square-foot facility marks the last step in Odette’s construction activity and provides an elegant and welcoming setting for visitors to enjoy the winery’s expanded offerings.
“Our goal for Odette Estate has always been to provide guests with a premier tasting experience that celebrates the surrounding terroir of our Stags Leap Estate Vineyard,” said Partner and General Manager John Conover. “With the addition of the lounge to the Estate, we look forward to creating offerings that are commensurate with the world-class wines being produced here.”
Design features include walnut wood tasting bars, black velvet sofas, a custom 10-seat dining table, modern chandeliers and an open patio with tables, cushioned benches and an inviting fire pit. Neutral colors create a warm and inviting ambiance, highlighting a circular theme throughout – on the tile, screens, chandeliers and beyond – in homage to the feminine characteristics of Odette – a fabled princess, mistress and judge found in works of fiction, mythology and the world of wine. Floor-to-ceiling windows facing the vineyards can be fully opened to further enhance the vineyard experience.
“This project has been an absolute pleasure to work on,” said Shopworks owner Dan Worden. “The creativity and inspiration that has gone into Odette’s new Estate Lounge is immeasurable, and we’re thrilled to contribute to the winery’s preeminent guest experience.”
Shopworks’ other projects include The Carneros Inn (Napa), La Taberna Restaurant (Napa), W San Francisco Hotel, and CADE Estate Winery (Howell Mountain, Napa Valley).
In addition to the current tasting room offerings, Odette Estate Winery will offer two new tasting experiences in the completed hospitality center – the Estate Tour and Tasting and the Vineyard View Lunch.
The Estate Tour and Tasting is an educational focus on Odette Estate, CADE Estate and PlumpJack Estate wineries with special attention to the nuances that distinguish their different appellations. Guests are welcomed at the tasting bar with a splash of refreshing Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay and then have the opportunity to take a walking tour of the Estate. They are then seated in the Estate Lounge for an elevated tasting experience. ($60 per person; $30 tour fee for interwinery/trade; available by appointment for parties up to 10; 90 minutes.)
The Vineyard View Lunch includes a private lunch and tasting at the Estate. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal expertly paired with highly coveted wines crafted by Jeff Owens, Odette Estate’s winemaker. Guests will then take an educational walking tour of the organically farmed sustainable Estate and the Gold LEED-certified winery. ($165 per person; available by appointment for a minimum of 6 guests; 12-2pm; please book this experience by contacting the winery directly by calling (707) 224-7533)
Located at 5998 Silverado Trail in Napa, Odette Estate Winery is open for tastings by appointment seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Odette Estate Winery can be reached by calling (707) 224-7533, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting www.odetteestate.com.
