Cupcake Vineyards Leverages Popularity of Rosé with Addition of Two New Wines
LIVERMORE, Calif. – May 4, 2017 – Today, America’s favorite premium wine, Cupcake Vineyards announced the availability of two new wine offerings, joining the extensive portfolio of wines from some of the best grape growing regions around the world. With the introduction of both a still and Sparkling Rosé, Cupcake Vineyards is providing two delicious Rosé options that allow consumers to enjoy Rosé with any occasion.
Rosé remains one of the fastest growing wines, with the still Rosé category having grown over 62% in volume from last year1. Cupcake Vineyards 2016 California Rosé is a blend of Grenache, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Merlot sourced from vineyards along the California coast and made in the dry Provencal style. The wine has notes of strawberry and watermelon and is nationally available with an SRP of $12.99.
Sparkling Rosé has been adding to the popularity of Rosé consumption. Outside of still Rosé, Sparkling Rosé volume has grown approximately 20% from last year2. Cupcake Vineyards Sparkling Rosé is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes in Italy. The non-vintage wine has floral notes with refreshing hints of raspberry. As a limited time offering, Cupcake Vineyards Sparkling Rosé will only be available from April through September with an SRP of $15.99.
