Today our lead story announces that exhibitor registration is open for WiVi Central Coast 2013, a two-day wine industry conference and trade show put on by Wine Business Monthly and Precision Ag Consulting. The event will present problem-solving information and content specific to the Central Coast, one of America’s fastest growing wine regions, while blending the editorial integrity and product focus of Wine Business Monthly with the institutional knowledge and educational directive of Precision Ag Consulting.

The Wine Business Monthly team is excited about our first foray into the wine and viticulture trade show business and plans to bring the same editorial integrity and product-focused approach that we bring to all of our projects. Our writers and editors will be checking out the best, new winemaking and viticulture products that are coming out in 2013 and highlighting them in the March magazine as well as at the show.

As noted, this event builds on the Central Coast VINE Symposium. The marketing and planning of the WiVi meeting is directed by Becky Zelinski, co-owner of WiVi and Precision Ag Consulting. Becky has more than 20 years experience planning and marketing events and is the developer of the Central Coast VINE Symposium along with her husband Lowell Zelinski, Ph.D.

The educational sessions are being directed by Lowell J. Zelinski, Ph.D. and Wine Business Monthly editor Cyril Penn. Lowell Zelinski is co-owner of Precision Ag Consulting and WiVi. He's a former U.C. Extension agent and CSU professor with more than 30 years experience developing agricultural research and education services. He currently provides viticulture production services on the Central Coast.

We'll keep you posted on all of the exciting developments.
