Wine Vision 2040 is a conversation of thoughts, reflections, and organic ideas. Expert panelists from France, Argentina, Napa Valley and Spain, will share their perspective on the future of the wine industry. Panelists will discuss a variety of topics, ranging from scientific advancements in viticulture to the impacts of globalization.

Speakers include Laura Catena, managing director of Bodega Catena Zapata and founder of the Catena Institute of Wine; Linda Reiff, president and CEO of the Napa Valley Vintners Association; Pierre-Louis Tesseidre, professor at the Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin of the University of Bordeaux; and Pau Roca Blasco, director general of the International Organization of Vine and Wine.

The discussion will be moderated by Jacques-Olivier Pesme, director of the Wine Research Centre at UBC and professor in wine business at the University of Adelaide; and will feature opening remarks from Ananya Mukherjee Reed, Provost and Vice-President Academic at UBC Okanagan and Philippe Sutter, Consul General of France in Vancouver.

A Q&A session will conclude the webinar and interviews with any of the panelists can be arranged either before or after the event, subject to availabilities.
