Brand of Pinot Noir recalled in Ontario due to possible 'presence of glass'
On Saturday, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) said they are issuing a recall of certain lots of Louis Latour Pinot Noir after the supplier said glass particles may be present in the wine. The affected product is 375 millilitres, and the CFIA noted that the Pinot Noir's vintage is from 2021.

Inflation is afflicting the wine world, too--Here are three regions still delivering bang for the buck
Since the wine business very literally works on a yearly cycle, it remains to be seen whether and how the inflation crisis will affect premiumization. On one hand, producer costs have gone up and supply crisis problems keep fine wine margins low and price pressure up. On the other hand, consumers are squeezed and watching their disposable income shrink while. A recession is on the horizon.

Government of Canada Invests in Wine Industry
Members of the national government announced an investment of up to $990,866 to Wine Growers Canada. The project will help increase domestic and export sales of Canadian-made wine through targeted awareness and training initiatives.
