DESCRIPTION: The new EZ-Fluo System from EMD Millipore and Gusmer Enterprises reduces micro plating time 50 to 65 percent compared to traditional plating methods. The vacuum filtration through membrane, followed by transfer to a petri-dish and the addition of growth media is performed with no change to materials or methods. After reduced incubation time, a bio-luminescent reagent is added. Viewing the plate under the EZ-Fluo Reader shows colonies otherwise invisible to the eye.
