DESCRIPTION: The California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA), established by Wine Institute and the California Association of Winegrape Growers, implements the Sustainable Winegrowing Program (SWP) and Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW). The Code of Sustainable Winegrowing Practices Self-Assessment Workbook is the foundation of the SWP and a tool for program participants to measure and demonstrate ongoing improvement. CSWA provides educational resources and workshops to growers and vintners throughout the state and publicly reports on industry progress.
