Frank Genovese Named Senior Vice President-National Sales Manager for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Washington’s premier wine company and one of the top 10 premium wine companies in the United States, recently announced the promotion of Frank Genovese to Senior Vice President-National Sales Manager.

Frank joined the company in 1999 as the Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region. In 2005, he was promoted to Vice President – National Sales Manager.

"Frank has done a terrific job of enhancing our sales force's execution capabilities, accountability systems and building the sales infrastructure of people, systems and processes to support Ste. Michelle’s current rapid growth rate as well the future growth of our company,” says Glenn Yaffa, Executive Vice Present, Sales.

Frank came to Ste. Michelle from the Jaydor Corporation, now a Division of the Allied Beverage Group of New Jersey. He worked there for 17 years, having held several executive level positions in both sales and operations. Frank has more than 30 years of varied experience in the beverage alcohol industry, including supplier, wholesaler and retail.

“This is a period of rapid change in the wine industry and my goal is to help the sales force grow and succeed with all the new challenges and shifts in the current business environment,” says Frank. “We have a great sales force of passionate, highly talented professionals and I want to continue to foster an environment that will allow our sales team’s motivation and engagement to remain at the highest level in the industry.”

As part of Frank’s promotion, he is also responsible for overseeing the company’s sales training and development program to enhance the company’s ability to support the needs of retail and restaurant customers.
